Art UK provides advice on how to take care of and photograph art objects, maintain a digital record of your artworks, and build those records through research – such as through the Art Detective initiative.
Art UK also provides the tools for collections to maintain their digital collection on the website – the Collections Portal allows collections to manage their data and add artworks, and Tagger is a crowdsourcing tool which generates search terms for artworks.
