Painter and teacher, born in Stromness, Orkney. Until 1987 was a lecturer at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, when she returned to work in Orkney. She took part in extensive group shows, including The Faroe Islands Gallery; RHA; RA; Aberdeen Artists’ Society: and Compass Gallery, Glasgow. Solo exhibitions ranged from Alnwick Gallery, Northumberland, through 57 Gallery in Edinburgh, Compass Gallery in 1984 and Pier Arts Centre, Stromness, Orkney, 1981 and 1987. Arts Council, RSA, Aberdeen Art Gallery and Contemporary Art Society hold her work.
