Simon is the director of Simon Gillespie Studio, a leading art conservation studio based in London. He has 40 years of experience treating artworks by Rubens, Titian, Picasso, KAWS, Banksy and more.

He is also the specialist conservator on the BBC Four programme Britain's Lost Masterpieces. His favourite artist is Frans Hals.
