A wall-mounted kinetic sculpture comprising a set of six double-sided interchangeable cards which may be mounted on a three-arm wire platform set before a black velvet-covered board, which conceals a turntable. The cards are motor-driven and, when rotating, produce a variety of visual effects. White plastic electrical cable issues from underside. The work is signed by the artist on a white cloth label mounted on the board, at front left. The cards are from a 1953 remake of a 1935 conception, but issued as a new edition with the accompanying turntable by Éditions MAT of Paris in 1959. The double-sided cards, kept within a cardboard folder, are entitled: Cerceaux, Verre de Boheme; Éclipse totale, Spirale blanche; Corolles, Lampe; Montgolfier, Cage; Poisson Japonais, Escargot; Oeuf à la cocque, Lanterne chinoise.
