Artist who was born and lived in Glasgow, where he attended the School of Art, 1986–90 and 1995–7, also California Institute for the Arts, 1997. In 1999 exhibited at Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh, in Visions for the Future, Part I, with Ross Sinclair. Had a solo show at The Jerwood Gallery, 2000, Boyce’s When Now is Night wallpaper of a diagonal black linear grid pursuing his interest in the relationship between design and everyday life and in the role that design has in public consumption and popular culture.
