In 2014 the Beecroft Art Gallery moved from Westcliff-on-Sea to Southend’s old Central Library. A selection of paintings from the fine historic collection is always on display in the permanent gallery or in temporary exhibitions. There is also a year-round programme of contemporary art exhibitions. Please note that paintings cannot be moved at short notice.
