Beamish is an open air museum telling the story of the people of North East England. The story of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian life is told by costumed staff and volunteers in a unique living and working museum. In 2006 the museum opened a masonic hall, which includes four oil paintings lent by the Museum of Freemasonry.
