Law Firm office renovation is a work of art.
Many people may not consider that preserving a building is a work of art, but extensive restoration requires both creativity and an artistic eye. This is visibly represented at the Lazarus Professional Building, a downtown Phoenix law office that was transformed from a nearly century old building.
When Larry Lazarus purchased the Kenilworth Building, he knew there was work to be done. Constructed in 1921, the old apartment complex was showing every year of its age. Although the original tile surfaces and flooring were completely destroyed, Lazarus also knew that the beauty of historic buildings often lies beneath the surface. During the restoration Lazarus was able to incorporate a unique color of red that pays tribute to the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright which is visible throughout the building. This beautiful shade of red is now the hallmark of the grand, historic and home-like law office that is a point of pride in downtown Phoenix, and for the employees of Lazarus, Silvyn & Bangs, P.C.
Lazarus’s restoration has been well worth the effort. In addition to demonstrating how old buildings have the potential to become historic treasures, his office makes a lasting impression with clients who share his appreciation for the historic preservation of downtown Phoenix.
“Our building exemplifies an appreciation for history of Phoenix, and provides an inviting and rewarding environment for staff and clients. We take pride in being part of the renaissance that’s happening downtown.”
